The perfect asset to any flock, and ideal as a starter flock. Lleyn are bred for good prolificacy, good mothering, quiet nature, high milk . They are suited to both upland and lowland grazing. The Lleyn is medium sized, a low maintenance Ewe, is hardy, and easy lambing.
The Southdown bred pure will produce a fast growing prime lamb in record time. Crossed on any breed of ewe the resulting lamb will have a carcass of fine conformation and high grade if marketed correctly.
